A large triple-drill tank with 4 crawler tracks & 2 grabber arms, the Drill Diamond Machine is equipped for underground burrowing. Unlike the majority of the Gem Machines, the Drill Diamond Machine lacks a stone mode & instead has a separate Gem Stone, the Diamond Gem Stone, inserted as its core. Secretly built in the workshops at SCRTC, the Drill Diamond Machine can burrow at 100 meters per minute, & while combat capable with a rotating wheelhouse, can also transform into the Drill Diamond Megazord for extra offensive abilities.
History[]
The Drill Diamond Machine was built for Austin by Beau Sudworth after Austin joined the team after he killed Asterisk who had given the team a very hard time. Beau boasted it to be more advanced than the current Gem Machines. The Drill Diamond Machine was finished in time to face off against Snaptrap, but when Lumynox arrived, the Gem Machines fought off against the Dark Rex Machine Beast instead, leaving the Earth Gem Megzord to finish off the Shadoomer.
Later, after David finishes off Molewhack with his blaster, Austin arrives in the Drill Diamond Machine with David & the Shovel Topaz Machine on the Drill Diamond Machine to fight Hammertar. It takes Hammertar in the throw attack & the Gem Rangers form the Gem Machine Megazord as the Drill Diamond Machine keeps the Shadoomer distracted with multiple stabs to its feet & behind. It then catches the Shadoomer's hammer head in its retractable claw arm & spun it in a big circle before throwing it down. However, Hammertar bounces right off the ground due to its hammer being like the novelty ones in the fairground with the bounce-back being enough to stun the Gem Machine Megazord. It then smacks around the Megazord & the Drill Diamond Machine, a single roundhouse swipe of its head taking down the main Gem Rangers' megazord. Fortunately, with some inspiration from Princess Pearl, Austin uses the Drill Diamond Machine's drill to energize & stab Hammertar right before the Drill Diamond Machine would be flattened. Using advice from Beau, Austin is then able to become a Gem Stone & fuse with the Drill Diamond Machine to form the Drill Diamond Megazord. With it, Austin easily overwhelms & destroys Hammertar with the finishing crash.
The Drill Diamond & Gem Machine Megazords showed up with the Gem Rangers apparently having a plan which amounts to “overload Devroth's Mask with so much energy that it would implode.” The Gem Machine Megazord fires its beam at full power & punches with the Shovel Topaz Machine which seemed to surprise Devroth that they found his weakness but was unaffected & kicked it away anyway. The Copter Quartz Machine holds him at bay with a tornado whilst the Jet Sapphire Machine performs the finisher but two slashes have no effect & Emperor Devroth catches the Jet Sapphire Sword on the third. This proves to be a ruse for the Drill Diamond Megazord to jump in & drill him in the mask with its Drill Knuckle which manages to finally knock down Emperor Devroth but it still doesnn’t as much as scratch the mask. Devroth then unleashes another Shadow Destroyer which seemingly kills the Gem Rangers & their Gem Machines which would leave him the undisputed master of Earth.
Devroth was delighted & removed his mask to reveal his true face so that he could devour them & become all-powerful but it was a trap so that the Drill Diamond Megazord could blast away his indestructible mask. It then turns out that the Gem Rangers he saw lying dead had been illusions created by the Illusion Wish Stone at the same time that the Drill Knuckle hits so he wouldn’t notice the slight change in dimensions. As he is bemused by this development, the Drill Diamond Megazord comes in & strikes him directly in the face with the finishing crash which Emperor Devroth survives but is forced to become human sized which allows the Gem Rangers to kill him off once & for all.
The Drill Diamond Machine remains intact but is presumably in storage indefinitely in its hangar at SCRTC.

The Drill Diamond Megazord is the robot form of the Drill Diamond Machine, formed by combining with Austin in his stone form. Due to this, rather than being controlled from a cockpit, the Drill Diamond Megazord is controlled directly by the Silver Gem Ranger's mind, acting as a larger body for him. The Megazord is exceptionally strong, capable of spinning its upper body 360 degrees, & possesses enough strength to lift a Shadoomer with the Drill Swing attack with the claws on the left arm. It is also able to utilize the right drill arm for the Drill Knuckle jabs. While the Drill Diamond Megazord is formidable in power, it sacrifices the Drill Diamond Machine's speed, making it vulnerable to speed-based attacks such as those from Boatama.
Its finisher is where the Megazord leaps in the air & delivers a burrowing flying kick with the right drill foot, destroying the Shadoomer. This was strong enough that, when used on an unmasked Emperor Devroth, it forced him to shrink to human size. The Drill Diamond Megazord also has a second finisher where it charges up the drill knuckle & impales the enemy.
During the battle against the Shadow Seed, Josh devised a new finishing attack named the Mega Gem Arrow, which involved all four of the Crystal Kingdom's Grand Guardians wielding a supersized Phoenix Gem Arrow, pooling their energy into the weapon before firing a single supercharged shot.

This currently unnamed Megazord formation is the combined form of the Drill Diamond Megazord with the Shovel Topaz Machine & a couple of the auxiliary Gem Machines. It features the Drill Diamond Megazord with the Shovel Topaz Machine as the right shoulderpad, & has the Dump Cobalt Machine (as the Cobalt Vacuum) wielded in the main left claw & the Mixer Jade Machine in the secondary claw. The Megazord is armed with the Drill Diamond Megazord's strength & drills, the Mixer Jade Machine's firepower, & the Dump Cobalt Machine's suction. The Shovel Boom also allows it to slash an enemy.
The combination's finisher is where the Drill Diamond Megazord spins its upper torso like a top while the Shovel Topaz Machine grabs on, the Mixer Jade Machine weakens several key points before they are broken by the drills, & the monster is flung far while the remaining pieces are sucked by the Cobalt Vacuum.

This currently unnamed Megazord formation is the "combination" of the Gem Machine & Drill Diamond Megazords. It was only formed once when they had Stickenae stick their backs together to increase their powers.
Its finisher was where the "formation" spins towards the Shadoomer & delivers moves that involve multiple punches & drill stabs to the Shadoomer face & neck before it is torn apart.
Notes[]
- The Drill Diamond Machine is the only Gem Machine to not have a Stone mode.
- It was revealed by Lumynox that the Drill Diamond Megazord is one of the Crystal Kingdom's four grand guardians (including the Gem Machine Megazord, the Train Gem Megazord, & the Phoenix Gem Megazord).
- The drills on the Drill Diamond Megazord suit do not actually spin due to design limitations; as such, computer-generated effects are used to create the illusion that they can turn.
- The Drill Diamond Machine is the first Silver Zord since the Q-Rex Drill that was based on Drill & piloted by a Silver Ranger.
- The Drill Diamond Machine also bears similar designs to the Fire Ruby Machine, which is piloted by the Red Gem Ranger.
- The Drill Diamond Megazord is the only main megazord in Power Rangers Gem Machines to not have "Gem" in its name.
