The Drill Crystalzord is the drill-themed Zord of the Crystal Fury Silver Ranger in Power Rangers Crystal Fury.
Overview[]
A large triple-drill tank with 6 crawler tracks and 2 grabber arms, the Drill Crystalzord is equipped for underground burrowing. Unlike the majority of the Crystalzords, the Drill Crystalzord has a separate Crystal Gem, the Silver Crystal Gem, inserted as its core. This is necessary for transformation, though it can also transport other Crystal Gems. Built-in the CARAT workshops, the Drill Crystalzord can burrow at 100 meters per minute, and while combat capable with a rotating wheelhouse, can also transform into the Drill Megazord for extra offensive abilities.
The Drill Crystalzord is the most powerful out of the core six Crystalzords, being capable of uprooting entire Masked Beasts, having a retractable claw arm capable of picking up and throwing Masked Beasts singlehandidly.

History[]
The Drill Crystalzord was built for Christian by Mick Kanic after Christian joined the team after he killed the Meteor who had given the team a very hard time. Mick boasted it to be more advanced than the current Crystalzords. The Drill Crystalzord was finished in time to face off against Plant Monster, but when Artemis arrived, the Zord fought off against the Dino Crystalzord instead, leaving the Crystal Earth Megazord to finish off the Masked Beast. Underground Combat
Later, after Lionel finishes off Whack-A-Mole with his Crystal Blade Blaster, Christian arrives in the Drill Crystalzord with Lionel and the Shovel Crystalzord on the Drill Crystalzord to fight Hammer Basra. It takes Hammer Basra in the Wonder Throw attack and the Crystal Fury Rangers form the Crystal Megazord as the Drill Crystalzord keeps the Masked Beast distracted with multiple stabs to its feet and behind. It then catches the Masked Beast's hammer head in the its retractable claw arm and spun it in a big circle before throwing it down. However, Hammer Basra bounces right off of the ground due to its hammer being like the novelty ones in the fairground with the bounce-back being enough to stun the Crystal Megazord. It then smacks around the Megazord and the Drill Crystalzord, a single roundhouse swipe of its head taking down the main Crystal Rangers' Zords. Fortunately, with some inspiration from Princess Esmeralda, Christian uses the Drill Crystalzord's drill to energize and stab Hammer Basra right before the Drill Crystalzord would be flattened. Using Mick's upgrades to the Crystalzord, Chris is then able to form the Drill Megazord. With it, Chris easily overwhelms and destroys Hammer Basra with the Drill Crash. Escape Game
The Crystal Fury Rangers showed up with the Drill Megazord and the Crystal Megazord apparently having a plan which amounts to “overload Cronus' mask with so much energy that it would implode.” The Crystal Megazord fires its Turbo Blast at full power and punches with the Shovel Crystalzord which seemed to surprise Cronus that they found his weakness but was unaffected and kicked it away anyway. The Helico Crystalzord holds him at bay with a tornado whilst the Jet Crystalzord performs the Crystal Dynamic but two slashes have no effect and Lord Cronus catches the Jet Saber on the third. This proves to be a ruse for the Drill Megazord to jump in and drill him in the mask with its Drill Pliers which manages to finally knock down Lord Cronus but it still doesn’t as much as scratch the mask. Cronus then unleashes another Explosion Attack which seemingly kills the Crystal Rangers and destroys their Zords which would leave him the undisputed master of Earth.
Cronus was delighted and removed his mask to reveal his true face so that he could devour them and become all-powerful but it was a trap so that the Drill Megazord could blast away his indestructible mask. It then turns out that the Crystal Rangers he saw lying dead had been illusions created by Illusia at the same time that the Driller Punch hits so he wouldn’t notice the slight change in dimensions. As he is bemused by this development, the Drill Megazord comes in and strikes him directly in the face with the Drill Crash which Lord Cronus survives but is forced to become human sized which allows the Crystal Rangers to kill him off once and for all. The Shining Ones
The Drill Crystalzord remains intact and is in storage indefinitely in its hangar at CARAT.
Drill Megazord[]
- "Drill Megazord, ready!"
- ―Christian announcing the Megazord transformation[src]
The Drill Megazord is the Megazord form of the Drill Crystalzord, formed by combining with Christian's Crystal Gem. The Megazord is exceptionally strong, capable of spinning its upper body 360 degrees, and possesses enough strength to lift a Masked Beast with the Driller Swing attack with the claws on the left arm, also able utilize the right drill arm for the Drill Pliers jabs. While the Drill Megazord is formidable in power, it sacrifices the Drill Crystalzord's speed, making it vulnerable to speed-based attacks such as those from Motorboat Basra.
Its finisher is the Drill Crash, where the Megazord leaps in the air and delivers a burrowing flying kick with the right drill foot, destroying the Masked Beast. This was strong enough that, when used on an unmasked Lord Cronus, it forced him to shrink to human size. the Drill Megazord also has a second finisher known as the Shining Drill Break where it charges up the drill pliers and impales the enemy.
During the battle against the Othrys' Egg, Julian devised a new finishing attack named the Royal Phoenix Bow, which involved all four of the Crystalian Grand Guardians wielding a supersized Phoenix Bow, pooling their energy into the weapon before firing a single supercharged shot.

Notes[]
- The Drill Crystalzord is the only Zord from which the Crystal Gem is separated.
- After the final battle between the Crystal Fury Rangers and Lord Cronus, the Drill Megazord became one of the Four Great Guardians of Crystalia (including the Crystal Megazord, the Train Express Megazord and the Royal Phoenix Megazord).
- The drills on the Drill Megazord suit do not actually spin due to design limitations; as such, computer-generated effects are used to create the illusion that they can turn.
