Drake Sparks is the Red Chi Ranger and leader of the Chi Star Rangers. He is the TBA-year-old son of the previous Red Chi Ranger TBA and a human woman, he was not aware of his Chi heritage prior to the events of the series. His mother died prior to the events of the series and he has raised his younger sister, TBA, by himself.

Red Chi Ranger[]

As the Red Chi Ranger, Drake uses a variation of Southern Dragon Kung Fu that enables him to control fire and lightning. After training with a special suit of steel springs to defeat TBA, he gained the ability to use his Chi Power to enhance his speed to unleash an overwhelming barrage of punches.

Dragon-Fist[]

Chi Power: A basic attack possessed by all six Chi Star Rangers where they project a wave of force from their hands.
Lightning Inferno Wave: Drake's signature attack where he fires a blast of fire and lightning at an opponent.
- Sky Lightning Inferno: A slightly weaker but faster version, usually performed in midair.
Chi Flame Barrage: Drake channels his Chi Power to unleash an overwhelming barrage of punches.
Chi Energy Blast: Where he shoots out an energy ball made of Chi.

Red Chi Ranger Morphin Key

The Red Chi Ranger Morphin Key is Drake's personal Morphin Key and what became of his powers after he along with the rest of the 34 Power Ranger teams sacrificed their powers to end the Legend Ranger War.

This key along with the majority of the Morphin Keys were collected by the Power Pirates and later used by the Quasar Pirates. The Red Chi Ranger Morphin Key was mainly used by Captain Ryland (Quasar Pirate Red), who used it to fight as the Red Chi Ranger. It was also used by Preston Richards (Quasar Pirate Silver) on one occasion.

After TBA were finally defeated, the Quasar Pirates gave the Morphin Keys back to their rightful owners. It is presumed that Drake received his key and became the Red Chi Ranger once more.

The Chi Stars Gear is one of many Surge Gears used by the Gear Surge Rangers to battle the Gearror Dynasty. In particular, when used by a Gear Surge Ranger’s Gatling Surge Morpher, the Chi Stars Gear summons the Chi Rods.
