Dominque is from a long family history of alumni of the AirForce Academy starting with her Great-Great Grandfather Linus Anderson; one of the first students at the AirForce Academy during its founding.

Dominique became the Blue Ranger due to her powerful fighting skills and her ability to track down the enemy. Dominique is the first Power Ranger in her family.
