Doctor K is a genius scientist originally hailing from Earth-2. The creator of the Ranger Operator Series technology and mentor to the original Ranger Operators (aka the RPM Power Rangers), she has since relocated to Earth-1, where she now serves as mentor to a new team of Ranger Operators (The CPU Power Rangers). She also moonlights as a Biochemistry professor at Starview Heights University.
Biography[]
Kidnapped at a young age by the nefarious Alphabet Soup think tank, Doctor K remembers little to nothing about her early life - she doesn't even know her real name. Referred to as "K" and supervised by her shadowy captors, she grew up developing random bits of technology, decoding launch codes for various types of ballistic and nuclear weapons, and various other tasks. However, her crowning achievement was the Ranger Operator program - while studying alternative forms of energy, she and her colleagues discovered the Bio-Field, an invisible life force that connects all organisms. By tapping into this Bio-Field, they were able to develop the Ranger Operator Series of covert, self-powered combat suits.
After bonding with fellow Alphabet Soup kidnap-ees Gem and Gemma and discovering that her supposed allergy to sunlight was a lie, Doctor K elected to escape captivity. To achieve this goal she unleashed a sentient computer virus known as Venjix on the compound she was being held in - however, she was recaptured before she could install a firewall that would've prevented Venjix from escaping beyond Alphabet Soup, dooming the world in ways her captors couldn't possibly imagine.
A little over three years later, Venjix had taken control of 90% of the world's computer systems, and built himself an army of deadly robots with which he launched a campaign against humanity. The nations of Earth fell one by one against this robotic onslaught, and Doctor K emerged from the ruins of Alphabet Soup with her Ranger Series morphers in hand. She then escaped to the domed city of Corinth, the last bastion of humanity and the place where she would soon recruit her first team of Rangers.
After approximately two years, Doctor K and her team of Rangers were able to defeat Venjix and destroy him once and for all...or so they thought. Little did they know, Venjix had survived their final encounter, and hid himself in the Red Series Morpher. Once inside, he began to repair himself, all the while plotting his revenge.
Not much is known about how Venjix returned or what led Doctor K to Earth-1, but she has since revealed to her new team a grim reality - Earth-2 is nothing but ashes, Corinth City is gone...and so are the original Ranger Operators.
Personality[]
Having grown up in a think-tank performing thankless job after thankless job, Doctor K is socially maladjusted and struggles in most social scenarios. She was able to open up and become more personable thanks to the efforts of her original team, but their loss has led her to revert back to her closed off and emotionally distant ways.
A brilliant scientist gifted in all areas of science, mathematics and programming, she spends almost all of her free-time tweaking her tech or developing some kind of new weaponry for the Rangers. She exclusively speaks in proper English, rarely if ever using contractions or slang, and she often refers to Griffin and the others by their colors as opposed to their real names.
As a mentor, she can be rather cold at times, but she always strives to protect her team and guide them through their war with Venjix as safely as possible. After a lifetime of emotional and psychological scars, she has become accustomed to keeping those she loves and cares for at arm's length - but her new team is slowly but surely bringing her back to life again.
Despite her mature and studious disposition, she exhibits several child-like behaviors in private - these include the incessant consumption of marshmallows and wearing bunny slippers to bed.
Arsenal[]

Nitro Blaster
Nitro Blaster - The basic sidearm of the original Ranger Operators, Doctor K now uses one as her primary weapon on the rare occasion she is forced into combat. It heavily resembles a gas pump handle, and can be converted into a baton-like Sword Mode (though she rarely if ever utilizes it).
Trivia[]
- She is the first mentor to appear in two or more seasons and mentor more than one team since Zordon, who mentored the Mighty Morphin', Zeo, and Turbo teams.
- Of the two mentors that have appeared in more than one season and mentored more than one team, Doctor K is the only one to have a gap between her respective tenures.
- She is the second mentor to moonlight as a teacher, with Tommy Oliver of Dino Thunder preceding her. (Unlike Tommy, Doctor K has never been a Ranger.)
- Her survivor's guilt and the behaviors and mannerisms it causes make her quite similar to the 9th incarnation of The Doctor, the main character of the hit British TV series "Doctor Who". This is intentional; xXRocketShark216Xx is a huge fan of Doctor Who and The 9th Doctor in particular, and saw a potential to take his character arc and replicate it with Doctor K.
