Devon Daniels is Beast Morphers Red, the Red Ranger & leader of the Beast Morphers Rangers in Power Rangers Beast Morphers & Super Beast Morphers.
He is also the Commander of Grid Battleforce since the end of Beast Morphers.

After learning of Vargoyle's return to Coral Harbor, Devon, as the new Commander of Grid Battleforce, decided to bring the team back together. As their basic Beast Morphers powers wouldn't be strong enough to take on Vargoyle's new Virus Army, Devon told his team that it was probably about time they used the Morphin Grid to their advantage.
After the Beast Morphers Rangers (minus Nate & Sterling) tapped into the Morphin Grid & gained their new animal DNA powers, Devon explained to each of his teammates about their new powers. Just before he could explain his new powers as well, however, Devon received a phone call about his father's disappearance.
Shaken by this tragedy, Devon decided to stay behind, & he sent his team off without him to fight Vargoyle's Virus Army. However, after Nate & Sterling were able to help Devon remember what he was fighting for, he joined his teammates as they were fighting Spikeo, one of Vargoyle's generals. Using his new Beast Grid Morpher, Devon morphed into Super Beast Morphers Red & fought alongside the other Rangers. The five of them defeated Spikeo, but Beryla made him grow giant. Using their Beast Grid Morphers, they summoned their new Beast Grid Zords to fight the newly grown Spikeo, & they formed the Beast Grid Megazord, although Super Beast Morphers Green & White were out of the formation, much to their confusion & disappointment.

Personality
Devon is impatient & a rule-breaker, but who also seeks to find a challenge for himself. He also shows signs of being overconfident. He has a strong love for karate & video games but dislikes the job positions that his father attempts to supply him with. However, despite all of these traits, Devon acts as a big brother for Ravi & Zoey, even reminding them to stop bickering. His big brother instinct eventually led Ravi & Zoey to appoint him as a team leader because Devon himself was a natural-born leader despite being a slacker.
Powers & Abilities
Powers
- SuperSpeed (Formerly): Due to being linked with Cheetah DNA; Devon can move at extremely fast speeds. When also using the Fury Cell in his new Battlizer, Devon became much faster than his original powers were.
- Wall Climbing (Formerly): During his battle with Vargoyle, he was able to run fast enough that he run on walls.
- Super Strength (Formerly): In Episode 15 of Beast Morphers, Devon spotted two bank robbers trying to escape with bags full of cash, Devon quickly transformed then used the Red Fury Morph-X Key to transform into Red Fury Mode once again to catch the robbers who were trying to escape in their vehicle; they were caught red-handed by Devon as he lifted their vehicle.
- Enhanced Vision: As a result of receiving eagle DNA, following his first transformation into Super Beast Morphers Red, Devon's eyesight has been enhanced to superhuman levels. This elevated sense allows him able to see things at much greater distances or too small to see & perceive actions too quickly for others to process. Devon was initially oblivious to the change but has since realized the scope & nature of his new abilities. Currently, this is the only ability from DNA Power that Devon had shown using it in civilian form.
- Enhanced Strength: As a result of receiving Ravi's old Gorilla DNA power & morphing into Gorilla DNA Mode, Devon's strength has been greatly enhanced to the point of being powerful enough to overpower a virus monster.
- Aquatic Adaptation: As a result of receiving Whale DNA power & morphing Whale DNA Mode, he can swim & dive well in the deep sea.
Weaknesses
- Cynophobia (Formerly): Due to being linked with Cheetah DNA that was semi-corrupted from Evox; whenever he confronts a dog (since cheetahs are part of the feline lineage as cats, & cats are scared of dogs) he is instantly frozen, even in mid-air. This thankfully stopped after Devon received his new Eagle DNA power.
- Fury Cell Corruption (Formerly): The Fury Cell was used to make any Robotron stronger, but then it was used to become Devon's New Power-Up. This does have one side effect to it; when Devon uses the power of the Fury Cell, it would slowly turn him evil & act out into anger with his team and/or commander. Later in Episode 15, a battle with a Robotron & the rangers had occurred, but then Devon appeared to personally destroy the Robotron without his team's help. Roxy wanted Devon to use the last Fury Cell so he can become evil & turn against his friends, but he then quickly snatched the Fury Cell back & smashed it to realize that the cell was corrupting him & turning him against his team.

- Racer Zord Battle Mode: Beast Morphers Red's Megazord formed when his Beast Bot, Cruise combines with his Zord. It has three modes: Battle Mode, Cheetah Mode, and Linked Mode. It also becomes the torso and upper legs of Beast-X Megazord.
A visor that comes with Cheetah Beast Blaster. It has a scope-like function which further pinpoints a Gigadrone for him to deliver a finishing move via his zord's Battle Mode or the Megazord.

Red Fury Mode is the Red Ranger's (temporary) Battlizer to use in a battle against his enemies. While powerful, the Fury Cells that power this form don't usually last long, & have a side effect of slowly turning Devon evil. Fury Mode has been unusable since then, & would eventually be replaced with the much safer Beast-X Mode.

- Cheetah Slash-Devon's finisher in this form. He can charge up his claws with red energy & slash the Robotron with enough force to immediately obliterate them. This was able to destroy Tubatron 2.0.

Beast-X Mode is Beast Morphers Red's power-up form. As Devon uses the Beast-X Visor, Cruise can transform into data that can transfer & project into the Red Beast-X Morph-X Key & combines himself with the suit to form a powerful armor known as Beast-X Mode. Devon & Cruise gains a new attack ability called "Beast-X Cheetah Charge" which allows both of them to manifest themselves as a flaming digital Cheetah that can charge towards an enemy.

In his Enhanced DNA Mode, Super Beast Morphers Red (in Eagle DNA Mode) gains a pair of wings that grant him the power of high-speed flight that can cover many city blocks. He also gains enhanced kicks, mimicking how an eagle uses its talons to catch its prey, along with the ability to generate gusts of wind or light himself on fire like a Phoenix before slamming into an opponent.

Later on in the series, Devon can assume Beast-X Mode, temporarily regaining his Cheetah powers. As Devon uses the Beast-X Visor, Cruise can transform into data that can transfer & project into the Red Beast-X Morph-X Key & combines himself with the suit to form a powerful armor known as Beast-X Mode. Just like in his previous Ranger form, Devon & Cruise use the attack ability "Beast-X Cheetah Charge", which allows both of them to manifest themselves as a flaming digital Cheetah that can charge towards an enemy.

Gorilla DNA Mode is Devon's second Super Beast Morphers form which he gains thanks to Ravi, who transferred his old Gorilla DNA to him to save his life. Devon activates this form by lifting his visor, exposing a secondary visor underneath & changing the emblem on his tunic from an eagle to a gorilla. Alternately, Devon can directly morph into Gorilla DNA Mode from his civilian form.

Unlike Eagle DNA Mode & the other Super Beast Morphers Rangers' forms, the default mode of Gorilla DNA Mode is bypassed by the morphing sequence which goes straight to Enhanced DNA Mode. As such, this mode is only seen during the beginning of the morphing sequence.

In his Enhanced DNA Mode, Super Beast Morphers Red (Gorilla DNA Mode)'s arms & upper torso become considerably larger & more muscular; greatly boosting his strength & punching power. He can also blow hurricane-force winds from his nose or swing from the Eagle-X Saber like a vine.

Tri-DNA Mode combines Super Beast Morphers Red's three forms into one ultimate form. This form grants Devon enough power to gain an edge over Vargoyle in close-combat.

Two copies of Devon Daniels were created as part of a fake Super Beast Morphers Ranger team by Admiral Karban via scanning Psitron's memory.
- First was a fake Super Beast Morphers Red in Eagle DNA Mode that attacked the real Chimera Ranger, who ultimately defeated him with his finisher.
- The second was a fake Super Beast Morphers Red in Gorilla DNA Mode who led copies of the other four Super Beast Morphers Rangers against the real Super Beast Morphers Red (in Eagle DNA Mode). After his four teammates were defeated, he successfully defeated Super Beast Morphers Red himself & captured Devon for Karban. After Devon was freed by his team, he fought Karban's Super Beast Morphers Red (in Gorilla DNA Mode) as Whale DNA Mode before leaving him to them. The fake Super Beast Morphers Red was then defeated when the Chimera Ranger threw him into the air which was followed by the other four's shots.
Notes
- He is the second Ranger to be based on a cheetah, after Lily Chilman from Jungle Fury.
- He is also the first Red Ranger to have a cheetah theme.
- He is also the second Red Ranger with super speed, after Conner McKnight from Dino Thunder.
- He shares similarities to Scott Truman from Power Rangers RPM.
- Both are Red Rangers with an eagle motif.
- Both are the sons of a high-ranking government official.
- He is similar to Jack Landors in that both can be perceived as starting as irresponsible slackers who eventually become more proactive.
- He is also similar to Casey Rhodes in that they fight with the Ranger they replace & their power comes from animal power.
- Unlike his Sentai counterpart, he was never meant to be a Ranger from the start, as Hiromu was already raised from the beginning & trained since childhood to be a Go-Buster by the Energy Management Center.
- As the scans for three new figures had revealed for the Beats Morphers toyline, the Red Ranger was revealed to gain a new battle mode called Fury Mode which became an extra form only for the Red Ranger to access with.
- He is the only Super Beast Morphers Ranger in his team to retain his color.
- Devon's three forms as Super Beast Morphers Red represent the three main elements of animal-themed Ranger Teams', air (Eagle DNA Mode), land (Gorilla DNA Mode), & sea (Whale DNA Mode), meaning he is the first Red Ranger to utilize all three elements in a certain way.
- Devon's motif as Super Beast Morphers Red is the North American Bald Eagle, a majestic member of Accipitridae family who is often used by countries as a symbol of power & courage (most notably the United States of America). This bird can fly swiftly through the air & dive at speeds up to 99 mph, thus explaining Devon's blindingly fast super speed while in the air.
- Devon is the first Red Ranger to have an aquatic animal motif, & the first Ranger to have a whale motif.
