Dax Lo is one of the main protagonists of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. He is a stuntman and aspiring actor who becomes the Blue Overdrive Ranger, the Blue Ranger of the Overdrive Rangers. He is once a "boyfriend" of Miratrix.
Years later, Dax would return in Power Rangers Legendary, his spirit taking control of the Operation Overdrive Rangeroid so he could join the Legendary Rangers as the Drive Legendary Ranger against Negasin's Army.
History[]
Operation Overdrive[]
Dax was chosen by Andrew Hartford for his ability to fulfill incredible tricks, lack of height fear, depth, knowledge of dangerous places and skills of martial arts. Kick into Overdrive An absolutely highly skilled film stuntman, Dax was unappreciated and ignored in his job; he tends to babble about his previous roles and compare events to films. He adores the jokes but does not like being left without credit for his work, and his dream prior to becoming a Ranger was getting a lead role he would be remembered for. He is the most enthusiastic of the Overdrive team, enjoying getting to be a real superhero. He used to have a girlfriend named Mira from which he saved her from one of her henchmen, before she was revealed to be the powerful, evil Miratrix. He still believes she harbors feelings for him. Heart of Blue Dax has also shown that he understands his duties of protecting the world, but this hasn't lessened his dream of attaining a true acting career. Dax is the first to use the Transtek Armored vehicle, which he used against Miratrix, Kamdor and Moltor and their monsters.
At the end of the series, Dax declared that he had had enough of stunt acting, and had expressed a desire to direct instead. Crown and Punishment
His genetic power is super agility (allowing him to jump great heights and at high speeds), his primary weapon is the Drive Vortex, and he commands the Gyro and Cement Driver Zords.
Megaforce[]
Dax along with the other Overdrive Rangers and other Ranger teams are seen in Troy's premonition about the Legendary Battle. Mega Mission
He and the other Rangers are seen again in another of Troy's dream/vision about the Legendary Battle. Stranger Ranger
Super Megaforce[]
Emperor Mavro was defeated, but the remaining thousands of X Borgs still stand. Dax returned with his fellow Overdrive Rangers and existing Power Rangers, as part of the army of Legendary Rangers led by Tommy as the Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, that helped the Mega Rangers defeat the Armada once and for all, fighting in a huge battle against hundreds of X Borgs and dozens of Bruisers. After the demise of the X Borgs, Tommy shook hands with Troy and teleported off along with Dax and the Legendary Rangers. Legendary Battle
Dino Fury[]
Zayto activates the Legendary Ranger Database, showing Master Blue that Master Green came to them after the Dinohenge statues were destroyed and restored them to normal. Also, Zayto says that he found Ranger teams who were saved in their darkest moments through unexplained reasons and shows them three specific moments. Including the Legendary Battle where all the Legendary Rangers including Dax and the other Overdrive Rangers coming to the aid of the Megaforce Rangers in the Legendary Battle and helping them defeat an entire army of the Armada's X Borgs. Morphin Master
Legendary[]
When Negasin arrived to attack Earth, Dax was called to defeat him alongside every other Ranger team, but they were all ultimately overpowered, with Negasin using his powers to destroy them all, trapping their spirits within the Negavoid and erasing the world's memory of the entire Ranger legacy.
However, Ezekiel Daik (the only person to remember who the Power Rangers are after Negasin's attack), was ultimately able to free Dax from the Negavoid with the help of a revived Zordon and the Morphin Masters, along with Jason Lee Scott, Taylor Earhardt and Vida Rocca, with his spirit being transferred into the Operation Overdrive Rangeroid. While initially thrown off and terrified of his new form, Dax and the others all agreed to assist Zeke in his pursuit to stop Negasin and restore the Ranger legacy. Episode 1: A New Legend Begins (Power Rangers Legendary)
Personality[]
Dax is a show off at best. He has a rather annoying tendency to treat every battle and meeting as a stage performance, exaggerating his actions and facial expressions and acting often goofy and obstreperous amongst his friends and teammates. Despite this, he can be serious in battle, and can treat his enemies with the respect they deserve. He is loyal to his friends, and cares about them, standing by their side through thick and thin, and always willing to risk himself to help them.

Drive Legendary Ranger
- "Overdrive, Accelerate!"
- āSummoning announcement
While all of the core Legendary Rangers excel at gunmanship, the Drive Legendary Ranger specializes in extreme displays of power, and is physically the strongest of the core Legendary Rangers. As such, he uses the Drive Pick to smash opponents or simply punch at them with enough force to send them flying several feet. The Drive Legendary Ranger also has the ability to erupt in a large energy burst, sending those crowding over him flying away at a good distance.
Out of all the Rangeroid Legendary Rangers, Dax has showcased the most robotic and mechanically unique features. He can detach his upper torso from his waist, sending it flying skyward and free-spinning to throw back enemy projectiles, generating momentum for dealing heavy hits while doing so. He can also use his wheels for rapid transit, simply lying on his back while spinning them quickly to race towards his destination. This also lets him act as a temporary form of transport for his teammates.
