Darkness Beasts are naturally large creatures in Power Rangers Shining Spirits. Although some resemble Phears, some don't. They were primarily employed by two generals King Moonsault had built to challenge his mortal subjects based off the prototype designs of Doctor Kareem.

- The Darkness Beasts were used from the getgo in Kiramager. Some were used on small scale, others cut or pushed back.
- Paleo Phear and Fly Trap Phear was Jamen Beasts that were used as Monsters of the Day
- Paleo Phear's Jamanshi counterpart was killed off screen and Fly Trap Phear had no monster counterpart
- Magnet Phear ("Corruption"), Kiln Phear and Cooler Phear (Fusion) used their Jaman Beasts as giant forms
- Passion IT is the only Darkness Beast to be created from a human and not by a general
- The following Jamen Beasts were not adapted
- The Lignay's Catcher, Hasha (w/o button), Gold Bar, and Cat Food
- Two of the Jamanshi counterparts were used in Seven Deadly Sins
- Signal Phear I was adapted before the Action Zords debuted, making Catcher's footage unusable
- An original fight, debuting Cornwall ShadowZord, replaced the Gold Bar fight
- Super Glue Shellga (Due to integrating Bomb Phear into said episode)
- Passion IT is not considered a Darkness Beast due to human origin
- The Hildon's Golf Cart, Wange, and Torso
- Wange Hildon didn't have a Jamanshi counterpart-which is unlike the others
- Golf Cart Hildon's footage is unusable
- Mannequin Jamen wasn't adapted either (the only unadapted Jamanshi-although it's seen as a prop in the Preston Mansion)
- The Gomoryu became Megazords
- Projector became Satan Megazord, piloted by Drokar
- Turntable became Doom Winger, a doomsday machine created by Lord Helios. Asheera uplinked herself into it to stop the Shadon Clan's plans, being destroyed in the process.
- All the Basra and Dagames were adapted
- Paleo Phear was adapted as a monster of the day, not a Darkness Beast
- Yukon Ziz being is US exclusive "Dagames"
- The Lignay's Catcher, Hasha (w/o button), Gold Bar, and Cat Food
