Crystals Awakening is the first/premiere episode of Power Rangers Crystal Fury and the premiere of the overall Power Rangers franchise.
Synopsis[]
Following the invasion of her home planet by the evil Othrys Empire, the benevolent Princess Esmeralda recruits a group of five civilians to help protect the empire's next target, Earth, as crystal-powered warriors of goodness.
Plot[]
In the classroom, the young teenage Julian dreams of the Crystalia Kingdom, a land of beautiful jewels where the Othrys Empire, led by Aracne, invades the country, crushing the king, Soarin, and destroying the country with the guidance of Soarin's younger brother, Artemis. The surviving Princess Esmeralda travels to Earth, the next target of the Othrys Empire, along with Crystalia's secret treasures, the Crystal Gems. After that dream, the professor wakes him up under the gaze of TBA. In the heart of Pine Ridge, Esmeralda lands there and meet Mick Kanic, a supervisor and the owner of CARAT, who has developed the Crystal Morphers in preparation for the empire's invasion of the Earth. Esmeralda decides to use the Crystal Gems, being able to sense a person's worth, to search for warriors who have strong shining spirit, as they fly across the city to find these people.
