The Comet Morpher: The gauntlet-like transformation device which doubles as a shooting weapon. It has 8 modes and is able to utilize the collectible devices, the Star Spheres.
Transformation[]

To transform, a Star Defender Ranger inserts a Star Sphere, making the Morpher announce the name of the Star Sphere, then pushes it forward, towards the nozzle; then they flip the grip down, shout "Star Defender(s)... awaken!", then pull the trigger of the blaster to transform.
Special Attack[]

To attack, a Star Defender Ranger grips the Star Sphere and pulls it backward like a joystick.
Summoning[]
- "Say The Summoning!"

- "(Zord name) Star Zord!"

To summon the Star Zords, the Star Defender Rangers push their Star Spheres to their left, then press the red button on the side of the changer's hand grip. Afterwards, they are wrapped around a giant Star Sphere that becomes their cockpits.
Combination[]
- "Say The Combination!"

To combine their Star Zords into the Star Defender Megazord, each Star Defender Ranger pulls the Star Sphere to the right to initiate the docking sequence.
Finishing Strike[]
- "Galaxy!"

- ―Megazord Finisher stand by announcement[src]
To activate a finishing strike, a Star Defender Ranger grips the Star Sphere and pulls it backward like a joystick two times. The group finisher is the Supernova Blast.
Communicator[]
To activate communication with another Ranger, Theta, or somebody else, the Star Defender Ranger simply pushes the clear button near the back.
Teleport[]
To teleport, the Star Defender Ranger simply pushes the clear button on the Morpher twice. The teleport, however, has limited range.

- The Comet Morpher would, hypothetically, have a similar voice to the Seiza Blaster.
