Ancient Crystal Fury Rangers

The Ancient Crystal Fury Rangers were a selected group of Warriors of Crystalia who fought the Othrys Empire during the Crystalia War.

Many years ago, the team, composed at that time of 5 members, were once part of the Warriors of Crystalia, the main military force of the planet Crystalia, under the leadership of the King Soarin himself. With the forces of evil approaching the planet, the military council of Crystalia found extremely powerful objectS named Crystal Gems which produces enormous amounts of energy, becoming stronger with the passage of time. Using the power of the Morphin Grid, they succes to harnessing the powers of these gems and bonded their spirits to the warriors, granting them the ability to morph into the Ancient Crystal Fury Rangers. During the battle to defend their home, Soarin led them against the Othrys Empire and recruited his adopted son, Christian, to fight alongside them with the power of the Silver Crystal Gem now infused within him. When they were asked how they could fight the Empire if they were gigantic, the Morphin Masters appear before them and offer their help, granted them weapons to even the odds.

In the end, despite their best efforts, their homeworld ended up being destroyed by the Empire, assault led at that moment by the king's own brother, Artemis, who betrayed them, leaving only a few survivors and the other Ancient Crystal Fury Rangers died in the process, except King Soarin, who was able to go to the castle to take care of one last matter, and Apollo, who was cryogenically frozen in a block of crystal now buried beneath present-day Earth. Princess Esmeralda, who was among these survivors, fled with her ship to Earth with the Crystal Gems under her father's orders before he was ultimately assassinated by her corrupt uncle. Some years later, after the Othrys Empire arrived on Earth to conquer this planet, Esmeralda, with the help of a human named Mick Kanic, searches for five civilians with a shinning spirit and entrusts them with the Crystals Gems, which bond with them due to their bright hearts. The four newcomers, Julian Atkinson, Lionel Isaacson, Camille Hernandez, Lance Turner and Sarah Collins, later inherited the Ancient Crystal Fury Rangers' powers and would take their former mantle with the modern Crystal Fury Rangers as the new Crystal Fury Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink Rangers respectively. Due to their constant attacks on Earth in order to achieve their goal, Esmeralda made Julian the leader of a new team of Rangers in order to stop the Othrys Empire. Crystals Awakening
