Endgame, Part 1 is the thirty-ninth episode of Power Rangers EDF and the Destiny Wars. It is the debut of Ashley as the Laser Blue Ranger
Summary[]
It's the endgame, and without their powers and zords, the rangers are just living in it.

Plot[]
"THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!"

"I can't out run them!"
"They're all over the place!"
The cries of the people of the city ring too many and too frequently in the ears of the Rangers. Calvin and Ayumi try their best to not only keep people safe, but hold their attacks back to not hurt those who are brainwashed
"You're safe now...GAH!" Calvin saves a little girl before being struck over the head by a metal rod. A Lifesaver Brigade waves the rod again, winding up for another strike, but Calvin is able to disarm them. More Lifesavers pile into the room.
Things don't fare any better for Ayumi, James, or Micheal. The three find their way back to Calvin along with the people they were leading to safety, but hordes of Lifesavers trail them.
"CALVIN!" The 4 and the civilians are cornered. 1 Lifesaver begins to speak. Out comes the voice of Vira .
"You made a valiant effort." The Lifesavers charge up their weapons.
"But it ends here..."
Calvin holds the the little girl, turns his back to the Lifesavers, bracing for destruction. Ayumi, James, and Micheal are left blank on what to do.
Just then however, a portal from the Star Orb opens up. As the Lifesavers fire away, the rangers and the civilians alike vanish in an instant.
The instant Vira realizes what happened, a look of concern races across her face. The Star Orb is a variable she had calculated away. Viro walks up next to her and expresses confidence however.
"So they have the Star Orb. Hmmph. Too little too late. That power won't be able to stop us anymore." He says as he walks back off.
"That's part of the problem. How do we know that?" Vira thinks.
On Quasar, Queen Tiona has made her decision. She sentences the two to eternal prison. Prison...On Centari. Aaron watches over the trial, and sees Cosmos drag the two back onto his new ship, the Meteor Chaser. It takes off, and speeds into deep space. Queen Tiona turns to her people to make it known to them, the consequences of "dark actions".
"What Doctor Infinity did has jeopardized the future of the universe. He hid the Star Orb from us. Had he been killed, and the orb been stolen again, who knows what evil could have fallen out. Remember our one rule, the Destiny Shards can NEVER be brought together in the hands of the wrong person. They must be kept as far apart as possible. And Infinity broke that rule." She walks out to see her golden empire.
"He betrayed me. I saved him from those human insects, and made him one of my own Sons. And he betrayed me. Never again. Never again will this happen!!" She screams at her subjects.
Back on Earth, the rangers and the saved people land. Calvin looks around and sees his surroundings are back to a forest. It's Odagiri's place. Julian comes out running and sees the team. A look of relief, and yet sorrow is drawn across his face.
"Guys! You're okay!" His shakey voice says. He explains to the team about the metamorpher's fate. He'll be able to morph, but the Sub-Space powers, those are gone. Meaning Raiden, and the others, are trapped forever as well.
"Then how did you save us? We teleported in. Wasn't it you who did this?" Ayumi asks in confusion.
"Me? I thought you guys flew in here with these people. It wasn't me." Julian says. Just as he does, a figure appears from the crowd of people. The Star ORb begins to twinkle as the crowd is teleported away. The only person that remains, is Fuden...
The rangers get into their fight stance, ready for battle.
"Calm down. I'm not here to fight. I'm not here to hurt you at all."
"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THOSE PEOPLE?" Julian screams in horror.
"They're fine. They are safe in on Xemon. Away from Vira" He says as he yawns and stretches. "You're not the only one concerned with saving the people of this planet." he says as he picks at his ear.
Now that the team is relaxed, Fuden begins to explain himself.
"Raiden, as you know, is my brother. And it's time for him to become the ruler of the 10 worlds. Our mother, is at death's door. She gave me the Star Orb to save him. But with what happened with Vira and the Blue Ranger, I had to save these people before this planet was destroyed. This planet is still Amaterasu's planet, and it's not in her best interest to see this planet taken over by someone else. We need each other now more than ever."
"Especially you..." Fuden points to Julian.
"What?" He says.
"We've had our differences, Silver Ranger, but lets face it." His face is solemn for a second as he looks down at the Star Orb. "We both need Raiden. You know Sub-Space best, and only I can get you there. Whether you like it or not, we need to work together." Fuden's energy comes back as he says with a smirk.
"And why should we trust you? You've always wanted to destroy the planet, and all of a sudden right as that's about to happen, you're gonna stop it?" Calvin questions.
Fuden walks up right next to Calvin, facing the opposite direction of him. He looks Julian and Odagiri dead in the eyes. He begins his answer.
"Because who else do you know, at this hour, that could POSSIBLY help?"
Elsewhere, Vira begins to run variables and look for scenarios where she can disregard the Star Orb. She runs through millions of scenarios, only to find no outcome wherein she cleanly escapes with all of her Lifesavers and all of her chess pieces. Simply put, with the Star Orb the rangers become all the more dangerous. They have the slimmest chance rather than zero chance, which has proven to be all they need to win.
"10^-17% chance! STILL TOO HIGH!!!!" Vira screams out. At the same time Ryan begins to tear at Vira's control, leaving her to slowly breakdown into a state of mind.
Cosmos arrives on Centari and throws Doctor Infinity and Andy in a cell. He goes to get the Brain Shard and ready it for Brain Wiping, but there stands Aaron Jacobs levitating the Shard.
"White Ranger of Earth!" Cosmos screams. He readies his staff for combat, but Aaron tosses it away with one flick of the wrist.
"I'm going to cut all the fat right now. Earth is in dire straights. And at stake is the Star Orb being in the possession of a very dangerous Universal threat." Jacobs says.
"What?" Cosmos' face spells complete fear.
"And the only thing that can stop it, is the Brain Shard. Cosmos, you have to act now. We have the opportunity to prevent a galactic scourge before it starts."
"How did you lose the Star Orb? Didn't Amaterasu gather it? What happened to Raiden?" Cosmos says as he picks up his staff.
"Hmmph. Raiden, has disappeared. By now he's fallen into Sub Space so far that he's withered into nothingness. Please Cosmos. At this rate, only you can save the the Universe."
Realizing the opportunity, Cosmos impulsively agrees. He snatches the Brain Shard, and frees Doctor Infinity and Andy. The 4 enter the Meteor Storm and speed to Earth.
The Rangers ready for Julian and Fuden to enter Sub Space and save the rangers stuck in there. Fuden opens up Sub Space and the two walk in. Instantly, the tearing nature of the realm begins to rip at the two. Fuden creates protective body shields for the two, allowing them to trek further into Sub Space. After a long fall, Julian is able to spot Raiden, Will, Lara, and Peter.
"We've seen em! We're gonna pull them out!" Julian radios to Calvin.
A sigh of relief overcomes the team. Ashley walks in, having finished the Team's new reactors, and sees the team working. A smile of optimism perks up. Only momentarily however. Because as she looks out the window, she sees an advancing Lifesaver Brigade. Compounding on it to make it worse, Airships deploy as well. A message comes across the Computer next to her...
"We are here..."
Ashley screams at the team as she jumps to keep the Reactors safe.
A missile is fired at the Royle Tower, and before Ashley can say anything about it, Royle's building comes tumbling down. Debris separates Calvin, Ashley, Ayumi, James, and Micheal from the Star Orb, surrounded by a legion of Lifesavers.
Viro, Vire, and Viru arrive just as the Rangers and Ashley escape the debris. Viro raises an eyebrow, amazed that they survived that destruction.
"Oh, that didn't finish you off?" Vire says. He steps up to Calvin and kicks him in the back, waking him up. Calvin jumps up to punch the cyborg. Vire however catches the punch and tosses him down. Viro begins to look through, trying to find the Star Orb. Ayumi wakes up from the haze and begins to desperately look for Ashley, before finding her, along with the Reactors.
In Sub Space, Julian and Fuden wake up the withering quartet
"Fuden!" Raiden's weak voice says. Fuden smirks.
"I'm glad to know you'll be there to lead the 10 Worlds." He walks over to team and places his shields over the 4. His body begins to quickly wither away and tear as the Realm destroys him.
"I don't have enough magic to save all of us. When you get back, tell mother of what I did. Let her be proud of this one thing I did." Fuden struggles to say.
"Brother no! NO! NOT LIKE THIS!" Raiden tears up as he cradles his younger brother turning to dust. Fuden smiles one last time, before he waves his fingers, immediately pulling the rangers out of the Realm.
In his final moments, Fuden looks up to see the rangers go. His body finally dusts away, lost to the Sub Space realm forever. Never to be found, ever again...
Calvin, Ayumi, Micheal, and James collect themselves around Ashley. The hour of their doom is upon them. Viro stands across them and begins his taunt.
"You can run, but you can't hide. It's over Rangers. Face it. We will all be one under Vira..." The Lifesavers fire at the 5, but before they can connect, again the Star Orb opens up.
The trapped return...
Viro is visibly ticked, and Vira is enraged. She begins to have a meltdown as her plan shows signs of cracks.
Raiden looks at Viro and talks back. "My destiny is almost here. And because of that. I'll have to destroy each and everyone of you and your plans, with my BEAR HANDS IF I HAVE TO!!" The 9 rangers get their reactors back, but before she can escape, Calvin tells Ashley to use the Laser Reactor and become the Blue Ranger. This is one fight they NEED all hands possible.
The 10 stand together.
"STAR! LASER! CANARY! THUNDER! FURY! MISSILE! MIND! SPEED! ATOM! EAGLE!"
"TRANSFORM! EDF!"
The 10 fight off the Lifesavers and tear through the Borg Forms of Viro, Vire, and Viru.
An Isolated Vire faces off against Raiden. He irritates the Thunder God to the point of ultimate rage. Vire tries to strike him, but a misstep gives Raiden the advantage.
"GRAAAAAHHH!!!" Raiden impales and completely destroys Vire. The explosion rains fire and destruction. Now, Vira's rage cools and turns to concern.
Calvin and Ashley corner Viro and overpower him. A kick rolls the cyborg to a stumbling gather
"DANGER! STAR!"
"OVERLOAD! EDF!"
"Lets end this!" Calvin says. He and Ashley charge up their blasters as they look to defeat Viro for good. They fire at him. He stares down the shot knowing his end is at hand. But at the last second, Viru jumps in and takes the shot instead. His body is so mangled and destroyed.
"This is all for Vira..." Viru says before he pushes Viro away. Viru explodes before his eyes, destroyed.
Vira's mood changes again. Fear spells her face. Her plan is completely unraveling. Down 2 generals in one battle, the Rangers' victory looks possible again...
