Carter Grayson is a Mariner Bay firefighter and the Red Lightspeed Ranger. He is the main protagonist of A Shade of Orange.
Biography[]
Carter Grayson was one of Mariner Bay's best firefighters. He has an adopted brother named Austin Grayson.
In Trial by Fire, he almost injury Jane completely.
In An Unexpected Recruit, Dana and Carter kissed in the hallway after the Demonite's fight. Carter saw Jane running from them and tried to called for Jane, but she didn't hear him. Dana asked Carter what's wrong after they kissed each other. Carter replied that Jane ran out of the Aquabase and he thought she was cute like Dana.
In Reality Quake, he and his teammates were worried about Jane disappears. The chapter before that was he remember who save him when he was little.
In The Queen's Return, Carter came in the room and saw Jane crying. He asked her if she was alright. She nodded her head yes and Dana came in and both of them kiss each other. Then he kiss Jane on the lips saying that he like her and has a body of a beautiful woman.

Trivia[]
- Carter has an adopted brother who was not mentioned until episode 16.
- Carter is the third Red Ranger to be an adult at the time he was first introduced. The first was Aurico, the Red Alien Ranger, and the second was Leo, Red Galaxy Ranger.
- Carter is a firefighter like his Sentai counterpart. However, of the Lightspeed Rangers, he's the only one that is a fire fighter.
- He is the first Ranger to try to go against a giant monster (if unsucessful) without Zords.
