Captain Keys[]

There are a total of 208 total Captain Keys in the show, keys for 198 heroes of the 199 Legendary Rangers, as Millenium Red is the only one who doesn't have a Ranger Key. The 199th key is the Pink Dino Ranger key created by Cassidy Cornell. There are also keys for the fused Captain Keys: the Ranger Operator Series Shine Key (a hybrid of Ranger Operator Series Gold and Silver), the Gokai Christmas Key (a hybrid of Captain Fury Red and Green) and the Gold Anchor Key (a fusion of all 15 Sixth Rangers).

The first ever Captain Shift is Battle Star, which were the first team of Power Rangers: The Lost Seasons.
All three teams that the Captain Fury Rangers have transformed into have something in common with them.
The Samurai Blade and Mystic Force Rangers share some stuff in common with the Captain Fury Rangers:
- They have cell phone morphers (Samurai Blade:Brush Cell Morpher, Mystic Force:Mystic Morpher, Captain Fury:Captain Morpher)
- The Samurai Blade and Mystic Force Rangers use magic for their morphers.
The Mystic Force Captain Shift marks the first time all Captain Fury Rangers morph into all core members from the Disney Era.<gallery>

This episode confirms that the Captain Fury Rangers can Captain Shift into a past Ranger if desired, as seen when the boy transforms into the Red Samurai Ranger. It later happens twice with the Captain Fury Rangers, as seen when Koffi becomes the Green Samurai Ranger in episode 16 and when Aoife becomes the White Mystic Ranger in episode 44.
With the exception of the Red Angelic Ranger, all the All-Red Captain Shift is composed of Rangers with a Jungle cat theme and Rangers who possess the element of fire.
Also, Hank is the only one who morphs into his direct counterparts.
Ricardo's morph into the Red Wild Force Ranger marks the first time a Captain Fury Ranger has transformed into a Ranger from the original Saban Era.
During the All-Red Captain Shift, the Ranger that Ricardo transformed into (the Wild Force Red Lion Ranger) marked the tenth anniversary of Power Rangers as Wild Force was an anniversary season.
Similar to what happened in the original Gokaiger red change, when fighting Tentacus as Red Rangers, 4 out of 5 of the Captain Fury Rangers Rangers pair up in 2 groups of 2 based on the similarities of the Rangers they've transformed into before Jason finishes him off as the Red Samurai Ranger:
- Aoife and Koffi: Immediate predescessor/successor series and projectile weapons.
- Ricardo and Carly: Jungle Cat theme and hand-to-hand fighter.

Magicians Beware[]

This is the first time that female Captain Fury Rangers transform into Black Rangers.
This is the first episode where the whole team does not transform together for a Captain Shift.
This is the first time that Captain Fury Pink transforms into Ranger Operator Series Black. As a result, this is the first glimpse of a female Black Ranger in all of Power Rangers.
This is the first episode where there are two separate color Captain Shifts.
As the first tribute episode, this is the first time that a Captain Shift homages another team; the Captain Fury Rangers go through the full Mystic Force transformation.

Much like episode 4 of Gokaiger, both of the teams used in the Captain Shifts had Blue Rangers with a typically serious attitude:
- S.P.D.: Sky Tate was notable for his by-the-book nature and desire to be the leader of the B-Squad Rangers.
- Jungle Fury: Theo Martin was notable for being intelligent yet arrogant and lacking in teamwork skills.

- S.P.D.: The events of S.P.D. occur in the year 2025, approximately 13 years after the arrival of the Armada.
- Ranger Operators: The events of RPM occur in an alternate universe. Despite that, the Rangers still have their Keys for Legendary Mode.
As the second tribute episode, this is the second time that a Captain Shift homages another team.

Aoife, the Maiden[]

All of Captain Fury Yellow's Captain Shifts (minus the Yellow Lightspeed Ranger) outside the full team are either anniversary seasons or their numbers are multiples of 5:
- Solar Force: The 5th season of Power Rangers: The Lost Seasons and the fifth anniversary season.
- Turbo: The 5th season of the mainstream series and 20th overall, continuing the 20th anniversary.
- Operation Overdrive: The 15th season of the mainstream series and 30th overall, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Power Rangers.

A Tiger's Spirit[]
