The Bytosaurus Megazord is the main Byte Megazord in Power Rangers Dino Byte. It is combined from the Byte Zords piloted by Dino Byte Red, Dino Byte Blue, and Dino Byte Pink.

Overview[]

The Byte Zords were once ordinary dinosaurs that were transformed into machine beasts by Archio to fight the Frostbite Army and are empowered by the Jura Batteries which contain their spirits. To form the Bytosaurus Megazord, the command Byte Zords Combine is given whereupon the Tyranno Byte Zord combines with two other Byte Zords by means of the Tyranno Byte Zord biting their Jura Batteries in order to combine their energy with its own.

In the default combination with the Tyranno Byte Zord, the Stego Byte Zord, and the Tricera Byte Zord, the Bytosaurus Megazord is armed with the Cera Drill on its left arm and wields the Stego Shield in its right hand. By loading an enlarged Legend Jura Battery into the mouth of the Tyranno Byte Zord on the Bytosaurus Megazord's right shoulder, the Bytosaurus Megazord can then utilize the power of the Legendary Byte Zords. (I.E.-Loading the Allo Jura Battery allows the Bytosaurus Megazord to shoot a blast of flame from the Tyranno Byte Zord's mouth). the Bytosaurus Megazord's finisher is referred to as the Bytosaurus Jura Strike, which varies according to whatever combination has been formed. In the standard combination, the Bytosaurus Megazord fires a wave of energy from the Tyranno Byte Zord's mouth in the form of the Tyranno Byte Zord's head which then chomps the opponent. With sufficient energy, the Dino Byte Rangers can also transform the Stego Shield into the Stego Byte Saber, allowing the megazord to perform the Jura Strike Slash. At first, forming the Stego Byte Saber required the combined energy of all five core Dino Byte Rangers before their energy increased to the point that it could be powered by only three.
