Blasto is a bomb-themed Shadow Creep that appears in Power Rangers TQG.
Character History[]
This Shadow Creep was sent to a town where the Train Quantum Guardians stopped in when they were looking for the Diesel Trainzord. During his first fight with the Train Quantum Guardians, Train Quantum Guardian Ranger 1 sent him flying into the distance with a kick to the bum, exploding in the air. Dumbfounded, the Train Quantum Guardians nevertheless went over to Blasto's death site, only to run into a cloud of black smoke that came from it.
After clearing out the Trainzord of the smoke, several blobs of sentient smoke was left, & when the Trainzord started to move, one of those blobs exploded on the Red Trainzord's controls, taking out the brakes & making the Trainzord accelerate, with another one landing on Niles, forming into a Clone Mini Bomb that stuck to the Train Quantum Guardian.
The main blob formed into Blasto himself in a new, miniature spider-like body, & told the Train Quantum Guardians that if they don't catch him & press the button on his head, that the bomb will blow up if the Trainzord goes off the rails, as well as adding the risk of saying what will happen if Niles falls or tries to remove it.
After minutes of trying to capture the irritating Creep & avoid disaster by narrowly clearing a turn at their current speed, the Train Quantum Guardians then tricked Blasto into thinking they got rid of Niles's bomb by having Train Quantum Guardian Ranger 4 pose as Niles, leaving the shocked Creep open for Train Quantum Guardian Ranger 3 to grab him & pressed the button on his head, then threw the bomb & Blasto out of the speeding Trainzord to explode harmlessly. His plan was further thwarted when Train Quantum Guardian Ranger 1 arrived with the newly revitalized Diesel Trainzord to stop the speeding Trainzord by linking up the Trainzords & hitting the brakes as hard as he could.
Irritated, he then tries to blow up the Train Quantum Guardians, only for them to surround the Shadow Creep & destroy him with their Trainzords' weapons.
Blasto was among the Shadow Creeps that were brought back as ghosts by Gloomstone. They were weaker than when they were living & unable to grow when defeated. He was destroyed again by Train Quantum Guardian Ranger 2's Platform Blaster.
