Hello everyone,
In order to improve the user experience for the Wiki Discussions and the Wiki in general - we have been working on some new discussion rules. This also comes after several incidents in the discussions recently and we hope the new rules keep those incidents from happening again.
Please have a read through them.
If you have any questions or concerns about these rules, please contact anyone of the admins on our message walls. These rules are in effect as of now.
1. Be nice and treat people with respect. Keep discussions civil and be open-minded about differing opinions. If you need to disagree, do so in a respectful manner. Using harsh/foul language and insults towards others will not be tolerated.
2. As per the Wiki's policies - all posts should be in English with correct spelling and grammar to ensure everyone can understand what the post is about. Any posts that are in other languages or are in gibberish will be deleted. Posts that do not have any context to them (example: just a simple image with no explanation) are also subjected to deletion. We also ask that there is no swearing or NSFW content in posts.
3. Threads and posts that solicit upvotes will be deleted.
4. Off-topic conversations and posts will be deleted. Users are encourage to use categories for posts to keep them organize.
5. Impersonation of other users or famous people will not be tolerated. If you have been banned and return on a new account, your posts will be deleted and your new account(s) will be banned.
6. Spamming, trolling, or vandalizing of any kind will be deleted and will lead to the user’s account being banned.
7. Remember - Power Rangers Fanon is a Wiki for fan fiction. Whilst we do allow speculation about official series to be posted - please post all confirmed news about the series, such as cast and characters, onto RangerWiki (please follow their rules when posting there). All posts that are speculation about a series should be clearly labelled as speculation.
8. All posts that have false information about a official series that is not speculation will be deleted if the user who posted it is unable to cite a reliable source for the information they posted. This also includes posts that have false information regarding any cast member (whether a actor or production team member) from a official series.
9. Posts that overhype a series - such as claiming that a unadapted Sentai series will be made into Power Rangers without any reliable sources to back the claim - will be deleted if the post is causing problems amongst users.
10. Posts that promote bullying, hate speech or false information about someone or the Wiki itself will be deleted on sight with the user who posted it will be warned or blocked (depending on severity and any past issues with the user). If you have a problem with someone or something on the Wiki, contact a moderator and we will try our best to sort out the problem between the users or whatever is causing it.
11. No more than 5 posts per user within 24 hours - anymore posts past this limit will be deleted and user reminded about the post and time limit. This does not include comments on posts (example: you already made 5 posts for the day but are still able to comment on them, as well as other posts).
12. Do not falsely report a post that is not breaking the rules. If you find a post that you believe is breaking the rules, contact a moderator about and we will have a discussion in whether or not to delete the post. If you do not like the subject of a post, ignore it - do not just report a post simply because you do not like it.
13. Mini-modding is not allowed. Mini-modding is acting like a moderator, if you are not one. If you have a issue with someone or you see someone breaking the Wiki or Discussion rules, report them to a admin or thread moderator. It is not your duty to tell off other users if you are not a moderator yourself. Continuously mini-modding will lead to a block.
14. No abuse of @ mentions if you do not have a valid reason to mention someone. Only use @ mentions if you are replying directly to someone (such as in a long thread) or if there is a problem in a post and you need a moderator to step in (such as if someone being hostile in a conversation). Continuous abuse of @ mention will lead to a block. Do not use @ mentions just to spam or annoy someone.
15. Moderators are allowed to either lock or delete posts at their discretion if they believe a post has gone off topic from the initial subject or has problems (such as users being rude to one another). Do not question a moderator if a post has been locked or deleted.
These are the new rules for the discussions. If you have any ideas for a rule that may have been left out, please leave a comment below and we will have a discussion about it on whether or not to include it.

Also, please remember that we currently have a embargo in place for discussions regarding the season after Cosmic Fury as per this announcement.
