The Beastial Zords are the final three Somme Artifacts to be claimed by the Rail Morphers. Originally a shared threat of the Rail Morphers and Somme Assassins, they returned to Somme Possession when they were defeated by both teams (bar Sandalo and Aaron, who were captured by Rex Le Pen). The three assassins would use the zords for their own alongside the A-Squad Rangers and all the other trains in the Rail Morphers Possession (bar Diner Papa).

History

Ancient Times

Each train was a gift of the 26 tribes that become the modern Somme community, who divided the earth in 26 wards to eliminate mortals who became corrupted by their emotions. Each one being named after one corresponding to a character of the Somme Alphabet.

However, wishing for peace between the planes, Turyn stole the trains and was killed by the houses of Romeo and Juliett. Somme recovered Victoria and Golf while the undead Turyn still held Alpha-Foxtrot and Tango, badly damaged. However time went on and the feared the rest were lost forever and didn't bother hunting to retrieve more and instead focused all their recourses into the lower plane than their own.

Present

At some point, Rex Le Pen uncovered three of the 26 zords, Nazca, Yankee, and Zulu. By using his deadly magic, he turned them into Beastials, becoming Train/animal hybrids (Spider, Crane, Wolf) to attack the rangers and Somme Assassins after he captured Aaron and Sandalo whilst on a date. Rowan and Kesnia piloted Short Line Megazord, Marcel MagDrive Megazord, Mort the TalgoZord, and Drake, Jolene, and Kayun in Rail Storm Megazord India.

Components

All three zords are loosely based on one of the many Nazca Lines in Peru.

Nazca Lima

When branded by Rex Le Pen, Nazca Lima lacked a true form and transformed into to creatures and forms based on various Nazca Lines. When it was tamed, a Spider Beast Pin dropped into Rowan's hand. It becomes the head of Beastial Megazord.

• Its name is a play on the Nazca Lines, located in the Peruvian desert

Skara Yankee

When branded by Rex Le Pen, the TGV Atlantique turned into a crane inspired by the trains. It serves as the main body. Unlike its siblings. the Atlantique base remains in its core and pops out to form the right leg where the new cars on its wings form the left leg, which opens to perform the Megazord's final attack "Somme Warp Summon Kick.

Notes

• It was originally based on the TGV Atlantique, which became the bases of Spain's AVE class 100 high speed trains
• In its Beastial Form, it is based on the failed S&S Sansei Free Fly concept. The only example operates at Skara Sommerland in Sweden
  • Thus, it is a play on the ride, designed by a US ride Manufacturer and its location at Skara Sommerland
    • Its Beast pin is called Tranen in honor of the ride
  • In relation to the Nazca Lines, its based on the crane

Rou Zulu

When branded by Rex Le Pen, the P42DC-based engine Zulu was turned into a wolf. When he was rescued and returned from the past, Sandalo took the zord and its Japanese Wolf Beast Pin. It forms the Megazord's arms, being able to perform a quick punch attack.

Notes

• Of all the Nazca Lines, it's based on the dog
  • It is the first wolf zord to be specifically based on the Japanese Wolf
    • Real Wolverines resemble hyenas or bears
• It's name and Orange color brings to mind Rougarou at Cedar Point

Notes

• The Megazord's final attack is based off Kamen Rider Kiva's Rider Kick
• It is the only Megazord in the series not directly based on a train (Short Line Megazord, MagDrive Megazord, TalgoZord) or trains in general, with Rail Storm Megazord or Short Line Juliett Romeo)
• They are the only Beastials defeated by the Somme Assassins to not be deleted
  • As Hangman was an Assist/co-defeat with Aaron/Bravo
