Beamcaster was originally a radio microphone who was turned into a monster by Lord Zedd and sent to mind-control the citizens of Duncan Valley during Season 2 episode 34, "Zedd Waves". He was ultimately defeated by the Mighty Warriors and returned to being a microphone.
