Balor Delvaux is Red Arcana Ranger, leader of the Arcana Rangers in Power Rangers Arcana. He is portrayed by Channing Tatum.
History[]
Balor Delvaux is a very powerful, strong and highly-skilled witch who disguises himself as a regular high school teacher, while being the guardian of the 5 original familiar demons. After isolating himself for 100 years after a mysterious incident in the past, he reluctantly becomes the leader of a Ranger coven with his students to stop Morrigan and save the world.
Beyond controlling the ardent element of fire, Balor is an expert in Alchemy Magic, like being able to use transmutation and turn everything into whatever he desires, like gold.
Delvaux's legendary familiar is called Harpideus, a fire harpy eagle-like demon who has a fiery yet laid-back personality to contrast with his witch partner.
In the end of the series, Balor finally found peace after the final defeat of Morrigan and decided to officially retire his position as the Red Ranger, staying as a teacher and mentor to the Arcana Rangers. Everett moved to his house as they're repairing their relationship with each other, adopting Amor as well and now, the three of them have a new chance to be a happy, loving family.
Personality[]
Balor is serious, tough and cynical, he has been a lone wolf for 100 years, but despite starting as a reluctant leader, he ends up discovering himself to be a great teacher with his immense knowledge about magic and witchcraft.
Throughout the series, he grows to be a great leader and more sympathetic towards his coven, his main instinct makes him be protective towards Amor even before knowing that he is his long-lost son, sharing a closer bond with him. However, when Everett appears, Balor shows a more raging, furious side of him due to his trauma and hatred towards his ex-husband, but after reuniting with Amor, they also begin to heal their broken relationship.
