Insect Fusion[]

Excalibug Rangers with Insect Fusion activated

Insect Fusion is a special mode accessed by the Excalibug Rangers that allows them to access and use an aspect of the Hexazord that they are associated with, manifesting certain features upon their suit in the form of energy once this ability has been activated.

It was hidden due to the risk that comes from activating it. However, it was unlocked by Tatum after having Dragonfly Hexazord be struck with thunder from a thunderstorm and spreading the energy from it to the other 5 Hexazord, removing their limiters and thus allowing the Excalibug Rangers to access the mode by chanting out the command "Bugle Up,Insect Fusion!" after activating their respective colored switches (or in Weaver Warrior' case, twist the Weaver Wonder) repeatedly on their transformation devices.

  • (Monarchize) Excalibug Red: Stag Beetle Hexazord' pincers. It can also be manifested using the Cocoon Sword, Excalibug Regalance and Dino Sting Sword (which manifest Red Tyranno Zord' tail) as well while transformed as Monarchize Excalibug Red.
  • Excalibug Blue: Dragonfly Hexazord' wings. It grants Excalibug Blue the ability of flight.
  • Excalibug Yellow: Mantis Hexazord' raptorials on her legs. It allows to perform devastating attacks alongside her Cocoon Sword and Excalibug Shield.
  • Excalibug Violet: Butterfly Hexazord' wings. It grants Excalibug Violet the ability of flight and the wing's large size can additionally be used for defensive cover.
  • Excalibug Black: Wasp Hexazord' stinger. It is on the back by default but can be grabbed by the hand to be used as an additional blade and also deliver powerful punches.
  • Weaver Warrior: Tarantula Hexazord' legs. It grants Weaver Warrior enhanced maneuverability and allow him to perform rapid barrage attacks.

Royal Seal[]

It was said that the original six heroes who defeated the Chitin Syndicate in the past had wielded an invincible power which had the potential to destroy the entirety of Entomoria when misused. After the heroes settled into their positions as rulers of their respective kingdoms, this power was split into six portions and sealed into various objects symbolizing their rule, known as the Royal Seal. These symbols were passed down the line of successive rulers for over 2000 years, and are currently in the possession of each of the Excalibug Rangers in the present day.

According to legend as stated by Aurelius after formally allying himself with the Excalibug Rangers, it is said that when the six kings finally reunite as one, this power that they wield would be able to "pierce the universe". However, the kings must also be able to attain a proper degree of mastery over these powers, as failure to do so will result in disastrous side effects towards the users themselves, and may also result in the destruction of their entire kingdom.

With the exception of Guardiania's, each segment of the Royal Seal commands the ability to wield a specific elemental power. While each power used on its own has its own drawbacks, the complementation of at least two of these powers will be able to alleviate such drawbacks.

  • (Monarchize) Excalibug Red: The Excalibug Crown. Grants access to the Monarchize form as well as the ability to pilot Beetle Spaceship, a sign of the Guardiania King's absolute authority.
  • Excalibug Blue: A single earring bearing the crest of Technorion. Grants the ability to wield lightning powers that could destroy any technology.
  • Excalibug Yellow: Caia's tiara bearing the crest of Vitacore. Grants the ability to siphon life from all living organism, which juxtaposed the role of a doctor.
  • Excalibug Violet: A bracelet bearing the crest of Frostheim. Grants the ability to wield ice and blizzard powers that could freeze anyone without prejudice, which also gives rise to Albie's freezing imprisonment technique.
  • Excalibug Black: A necklace bearing the mark of Harvesta' crest. Grants the ability to control fire that would burn away Harvesta's crops.
  • Weaver Warrior: A crystal placed within Cassian's chest. Grants eternal life, robbing him a chance to die with his people. His portion of the Royal Seal has also been represented via each of his Ranger arsenal, namely the Arachno Blade and the Bug Buster on separate occasions, though the power of eternal life does not carry over to them. Cassian' Royal Seal was later permanently removed from the latter by the power of Caia's Royal Seal to be used as a bullet against Parasitrox, empowering him with true life to make him susceptible to death.
    • A new symbol was created to replace Cassian' crystal; The people's willpower, contained in an Hexazord Amber, in order to be used as the core of the final form of Excalibug Megazord.

The truth behind the Royal Seal was concealed from the kings until the threat from the Cosmic Infestors reached its peak with the revival of King Tardigrave. In response, the Six Kingdom Alliance was re-established and signed by the Excalibug Rangers, partly as a contract to keep one another's powers in check.

The Excalibug Shield is a giant shield that the core Excalibug Rangers carry with them. It is normally used in Shield Mode, but in an emergency, it transforms into five different weapon forms on its own, incorporating the characteristics of insects:

  • Sword Mode: A mode that specializes in close-range combat that is made by transforming the blades to form together on the top. Primarily used by Excalibug Red.
  • Gun Mode: A mode specializing in medium-range shooting that is made by holding the upper part of the grip like a gun. Primarily used by Excalibug Blue.
  • Sickle Mode: A mode usable for close-range combat or as a throwing weapon, made by transforming the blade on the left side horizontally. Primarily used by Excalibug Yellow.
  • Bow Mode: A mode specializing in ultra-long-range shooting, which is made by transforming the blades on both sides. Primarily used by Excalibug Violet.
  • Claw Mode: A mode that specializes in close-range combat, in which the blades on both sides are deformed horizontally. Primarily used by Excalibug Black.
OSKO-Kings Weapon (Naginata Mode)

Spear Mode

When combined in Sword Mode with the Cocoon Sword, it becomes a seventh Spear Mode, specializing in mid-range combat. Primarily used by Excalibug Red.

OSKO-Kings Weapon (Scythe Mode)

When combined in Sickle Mode with the Cocoon Sword, it becomes an additional scythe-based mode (as seen in episode 27), similar to Spear Mode. Primarily used by Excalibug Yellow.

The Bug Buster is an insecticide-themed gun that serves as the personal weapon of Weaver Warrior, and is his mother's last gift to him. Its special attacks can take the form of real venom, or simply be illusions to trick Weaver Warrior' opponents, in which case the gun announces "Fake!" after the reveal.
