Alpha 1 is the first of the Alpha Series created to assist Zordon. When Zordon was trapped in a time warp, he became the assistant of Zordon's protégé Zorion continued Zordon's fight against the forces of evil beyond Earth's atmosphere. Taking possession of Zordon's Starcarrier, Alpha 1 and Zorion continually upgraded the spacecraft so that it continued to have the latest in advanced alien technology.

History[]

Alpha 1 was commissioned by the people of Edenoi by the order of King Lexian to assist Zordon in his war against evil, a war that at that time over 10,000 years ago, he was losing. Alpha 1 proved to be an invaluable asset, facing many monsters and destroying them. After Zordon was trapped in a time warp, Alpha 1 and Zordon's protege Zorion took possession of Zordon's Starcarrier and continued his fight off-world.

Future Force[]

In an alternate timeline created by time travel, Alpha 1 first appears as an elite soldier in Zordon's Forces and Zordon's personal assistant on the bridge of the Starcarrier, where they meat the time-traveling Future Rangers Tommy Oliver, Jason Lee Scott, Kimberly Ann Hart, Zoltar, and Andros. Alpha 1 doesn't get the chance to participate in the battles of the special, as his familiarity with time machines results in Zordon tasking him to fix a flaw in the Future Rangers' time machine's design. As a result he spends the rest of the special repairing the time machine and doesn't actually appear again until the Rangers are preparing to depart back to their own timeline. It is jokingly suggested by Zorion that I might have taken longer for him to repair the time machine because Alpha 1 got lost in the armory again, implying that this has happened before.

Personality[]

Alpha 1 is a sharp contrast to his successor Alpha 5, as he is a hardened warrior who believes that evil must be eliminated regardless of the methods used due to his programming.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Forcefield Generator: Alpha 1 is equipped with a powerful forcefield generator which can project shield barriers in a surrounding area to protect civilians and Rangers during a monster attack or capture prisoners.
  • Built-in Weapons: Unlike Alpha 5, Alpha 1 was built to be a combat support robot and is armed with energy cannons located in the "palms" of his robot claws. Said energy cannons fire a surge of powerful bolts that can eradicate an entire platoon of footsoldiers in one shot.
  • Machine Assimilation: Alpha 1 can self-repair or add new components by absorbing other machines.
  • Rocket Propulsion: Alpha 1 can fly using the rockets built into his back.

  • Alpha 1 is voiced by Dante Basco. Basco is best known for his role as Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys in Steven Spielberg's Hook and for voicing the titular protagonist of American Dragon: Jake Long, among other roles.
